6. ADVERTISEMENTS

7. PERMISSIONS

Habify requests the following permissions:

Notification Permission: To send habit reminders and Pomodoro notifications.

Alarm Permission (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Required for exact scheduling of Pomodoro sessions and habit reminders. Without this, reminders and timers may not trigger on time, which is core to the app’s functionality.

Storage Permission: To save your habit and Pomodoro data locally on your device.

(If used) Foreground Service Permission: Used to keep Pomodoro timers running reliably in the background while displaying an ongoing notification.

8. DATA SECURITY

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Habify is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

10. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Your habit and Pomodoro data is stored locally on your device and will remain until you delete the app or clear its data. You can delete individual habits or reset all data through the app settings. Uninstalling the app will remove all local data.

11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
